Jodi loves actors and is a devoted theatergoer, who hails from New York. Her casting career began in Los Angeles before she moved to Seattle. Now a 30-year veteran of casting, she cast such films as “Grassroots,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” “The Ring,” “Smoke Signals,” “Life or Something Like It,” American Heart,” and TV shows including: “The Fugitive,” “Citizen Baines” and “Under One Roof”. She also conducted lead actor searches for features, including “The Spiderwick Chronicles,” “Speed Racer,” “Signs,” “Hearts in Atlantis,” “Stepmom,” “Great Expectations,” and many more.
Prior to moving into casting, she was a music producer and manager handling NYC’s top session players and rock bands. Jodi also worked as a producer for several music houses producing scores and jingles for films, television and radio.
Jodi is an adjunct instructor at Cornish College of the Arts and The Professional Actors’ Training Program at University of Washington.
She attended Smith College, and graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in African American Studies.
