She has a tissue expander and port that was placed on her right side after it was discovered her heart had traveled to the right side of her body. Kaitlin has severe scoliosis and has had scoliosis since childhood. She wore a back brace through middle school and is considered too high at risk for surgery. Kaitlin also has a minor pfo, hypoxia, and is hypercapnic. In 2020, Kaitlin was officially diagnosed with PTSD. This is in addition to her previous diagnoses of Anxiety and Depression. Kaitlin requires a full time prescription of oxygen to be on hand at all times, and requires the use of a cpap at night. Russ Garlinghouse (actor) is an active duty service member about to transition into civilian life. He is diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
