Aldis Hodge

Aldis Hodge is an award-winning actor, raised in New York, perhaps best known for his roles as Jim Brown in “One Night in Miami”(2020), Levi Jackson in “Hidden Figures” (2016), and as MC Ren in “Straight Outta Compton” (2015). He has been a prominent actor in the industry now boasting over 75 credits since one of his first in “Die Hard with a Vengeance” (1995) as Raymond. Together with his brother, they star in the upcoming film “Parallel” written by Seattle-born writer, Jonathan Keasey. Aldis also is currently working on DC Comics blockbuster “BLACK ADAM” (2022) as Carter Hall / Hawkman starring opposite Dwayne the Rock Johnson, “Leverage: Redemption” (2021) as Alec Hardison, and stars opposite Kevin Bacon in Showtime's hit series “City on a Hill” (2019-2021). He uses his degree from the Art Center College of Design and lifelong passion and talent for drawing and art both in his acting and outside endeavors as a micromechanical engineer, writer, artist, and painter.
