TheFilmSchool Seattle and Seattle Film Summit are teaming up to offer free professional development workshops every Friday in May. A virtual environment where writers, producers, directors and whomever else is interested, can opt in to have a conversation about content creation as a career.
Diana Dotter and Stacey Adams will kick off the talk with a short talk about scripted tv content, the sheer amount of it now, how it is evolving in the world of social distancing, streaming & cable vs Network. We will also talk about fears and problem solving for getting your content out there in this new reality. We will open it up to Q&A.

7th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival Screenplay Contest
The 7th annual HollyShorts Screenplay Contest is part of the 16th annual HollyShorts Film Festival (August 13-22, 2020). We are looking for short screenplays 30 pages or less. All Semi Finalists will be announced and invited to the festival with an all access pass. Top 3 screenplays will be announced/awarded at the HollyShorts Awards Ceremony and the winning scripts receives production deals courtesy of Seattle Film Summit $10,000 production grant to film the short in Seattle. The completed shorts will screen at the 2021 HollyShorts Film Festival at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres.
