The International Stunt School, presented by the United Stuntmen's Association in conjunction with On Edge Productions, Inc., is regarded by many stunt professionals in the industry as the most thorough and all-encompassing stunt training program in North America, with a number of the participants coming from the international community. Founded in 1992, we remain the only stunt school that is licensed and registered as a professional vocational facility in North America.
The Renton Municipal Arts Commission (RMAC) was formed by Resolution 1320, on August 9, 1965. Overseeing an annual budget, the Commission is charged with the responsibility of acting in an advisory capacity to city government in connection with the artistic and cultural development of the city.
The Commission strives to support and connect people with arts and culture endeavors in the Renton community.

Reel Youth Film Camp is a 5-Day introductory film camp created for BIPOC youth in underserved neighborhoods in South Seattle. The camp will encourage, mentor, and teach students the building blocks of filmmaking through one on one instruction, engaging group sessions, and the fundamentals of storytelling.
Reel Youth recognizes that BIPOC youth thrive when they are taught and mentored by qualified instructors who look and sound like they do; Instructors who understand the challenges and nuances unique to people of color.
Founded in 1996 in Portland, OR, Koerner Camera Systems sought to change the way the film community interacted throughout the rental process. We decided to do things better by creating a fun, welcoming space for Directors of Photography, Camera Assistants, Directors, Producers and all collaborators in production.
With offices in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR, our large inventory is available no matter where your production takes you. Call or come in to either of our offices for a social gathering spot centered on making the Pacific Northwest the best place to film in the United States.

WHAT IS INFRARED? Let’s just say it is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Infrared is emitted by all objects at temperatures above absolute zero, and the amount of radiation increases with temperature. There are cameras built for different wavelengths; short, mid, and longwave IR camera…we will be talking about my longwave camera.
OKAY, WHAT IS AN INFRARED CAMERA USED FOR? This will be surprising to most, but a good resolution IR camera can do hundreds of amazing things from seeing stardust to accurately screening for elevated temperatures in a human.
SERVICES I OFFER include infrared video footage for film or music videos, fun event photos, elevated skin monitoring, soft tissue thermography, building heat loss, electrical/mechanical and roof moisture inspections.

NFFTY advances and connects talented young filmmakers worldwide. We seek to disrupt systems of inequity in the film/media arts industry. Founded to address discrimination against young film professionals, we celebrate and elevate work by women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and other young persons from traditionally marginalized communities at a crucial stage in their emergence as an artist and storyteller. We ensure that emerging filmmakers are represented and given a platform to share their perspectives. NFFTY has grown into the world’s largest film festival for emerging directors. Each year the festival showcases films by directors 24 and under.

Seattle Film Institute has prepared students for successful careers in the film industry since 1994. Students develop the specific creative and technical expertise, as well as the critical “employability” skills necessary to launch their careers in today’s fast-paced film environment. At SFI, our unique hands-on and production-based approach means students get a rigorous, well-rounded education in film, where they immerse themselves in the filmmaking process starting from day one. Our faculty is comprised of experienced, working professional filmmakers, actors, writers, editors, composers, cinematographers, agents and other specialists.
Seattle Film Institute is the Northwest’s only stand-alone film school. We are the only school in the region offering accelerated certificate, undergraduate and graduate degree programs, as well as professional internships and career assistance.

AIE is a non-profit educator established in 1996 to grow and support the game industry. Mighty Tripod Acting Studio was founded by David S. Hogan and Angela DiMarco in 2012. Since opening, they have quickly become a leading resource for all things actor training in the Pacific Northwest. The founders have an established a long standing relationship with local casting directors, talent agents, and other industry professionals. These connections help the studio grow and adapt to the ever-changing entertainment landscape.
At the studio, actors can learn audition techniques, the business of the business, script analysis, character development, how to become more confident in the work, and more. 5-week courses, one-day workshops, seminars, private actor coaching and career consulting are all part of the program at Mighty Tripod Acting Studio.
The Power P.A. Course is a deep dive on getting into the film industry by starting as a Production Assistant. Engaging video modules, downloads and resources teach you how to find P.A. work and get hired, then show up on set confident and prepared - ready to do a great job, earn the respect of your colleagues, and start climbing the ladder. Established in 1990, WIF Seattle is a non-profit organization of professionals that supports members and the community through education and connection. Our mother organization was founded in 1973. Our membership is not restricted to women.

The Griot Party Experience is the celebration of stories that heal. Griot is a French word that means storyteller or poet. Griots maintain an oral tradition in west Africa. Oral history is a custodian of the cultural history of Black and Brown people. The Griot Party Experience encourages the participants to heal via the celebration of story telling. Your story makes you human and anyone who strives to deny you of your story is attempting to deny you of your humanity. The Griot Party Experience is a deliberate attempt to help people claim and reclaim their humanity via sharing their story.

Olympic College's Digital Bachelor and Associate Filmmaking programs provide formal hands-on film production training and education, using the latest software, cameras, and other production gear. THREE DOLLAR BILL CINEMA FOSTERS DEEPER COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT BY SHOWCASING QUEER FILM PROGRAMMING, EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES, AND SOCIAL DIALOGUE.
We provide access to films by, for, and about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people and their families, and a forum for LGBTQ+ filmmakers to share and discuss their work with audiences. We curate themed screenings throughout the year and produce programs in partnership with other arts, cultural, and service delivery organizations in the Greater Seattle area.

SAG-AFTRA is a national union of 160,000 professional actors, announcers, broadcast journalists, dancers, DJs, news writers, news editors, program hosts, puppeteers, recording artists, singers, stunt performers and voiceover artists. We are a community united by our shared work in entertainment and media. The SAG-AFTRA Seattle Local serves members in Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska, and provides administrative support for the Portland Local, serving members in Oregon.
The Seattle Composers Alliance (SCA) is a brilliant musical point in our community’s creative constellation, a collective of music creators coming together from many backgrounds and disciplines. The members compose for film, games, live performance, commercial media, personal artistic expression, and sheer love of the craft.
Our composers’ music represents a boundless array of genres, cultures, and influences...just like the city we serve. Our members support one another’s artistic journey through regular meetups, Composer Spotlight interviews, newsletters, a speaker series, and a monthly Feedback Forum for listening and critiquing. Rising Reels is a nonprofit organization created in December of 2020 designed to give BIPOC children an opportunity to use their voice to express themselves through the art of filmmaking.
