Louis Armstrong said, “Music is life itself. What would this world be without good music?” Amy Denio probably understands this at a cellular level. As a member of Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame, she is an award-winning composer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, alto sax, clarinet, accordion) with a four-octave vocal range. She has written more than 400 works for film, television, dance and theater, and has produced over 50 recordings solo and in collaboration with artists worldwide. Based in Seattle, she runs her own recording studio, record label and publishing company, Spoot Music. Her 17th solo recording, Eureka, is available through Klang Galerie in Vienna, Austria, and she is currently working on a bi-lingual book of her travels in English & Italian.
