Angela DiMarco
Angela has been acting on stage and screen for the past 35 years. She started writing and directing for Theatre in the early 2000s and teaching since 2011. After the loss of her son, Caleb, she wrote and had her directorial debut with her award-winning film, “Always”, which screened in SIFF, the Short's Film Corner in Cannes, Local Sightings (audience favorite) and more. Angela continues to make her artistic focus on creating a space for women to be seen and heard. Her most recent directorial project, “It's Hidden Within”, is about the darkness of domestic violence, written by her student, Kara Puerschner. Angela wanted to be sure Kara had the opportunity to tell such an important story. She believes each artist has a story and always wants to give the next generation of artists a platform to tell them.
