Elizabeth Yoffe

Elizabeth Yoffe is the producer of the highly acclaimed documentary “Filmworker” that tells the remarkable story of Leon Vitali who worked as Stanley Kubrick’s right-hand man. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, 2017 and was an official selection for many of the most prestigious film festivals around the world. As head of True Studio Media, she produced the award-winning documentary “My Big Break” and co-produced the Toronto International Film Festival official selection “Carving Out Our Name”. In association with First Folio Films she produced the award-winning Independent Film Channel favorite “Brightness” starring Eric Idle. She worked as a casting director for many film and television projects, including “Waiting For The Light” starring Shirley MacLaine, “Dogfight” starring River Phoenix, and David Lynch’s classic series “Twin Peaks”. She served as president of Cinewomen, Los Angeles, a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the role of women in film. Yoffe’s work as a freelance writer has appeared in The New York Times, Slate, The Week, Natural Health, and Healing Journal. She currently serves as COO of the independent distribution and sales company Blackwaterhorse.
