GARY GLUSHON

Gary is a veteran film and television executive who most recently served as the Executive Vice President of F. Gary Gray’s Fenix Studios where he oversaw development and production of the feature film and television slate. Fenix Studios has a number of active projects in development which include the feature film MASK based on the Hasbro property as well as an adaptation of the popular video game franchise Saint’s Row. Prior to Fenix Studios, Glushon served as Executive Vice President of Production and Development for Fundamental Films, a China-based film financier, distribution, and production company.

Gary executive produced the feature film 24 Hours to Live starring Ethan Hawke and oversaw development of the Keanu Reeves-starrer Replicas. Glushon also served as Vice President of Creative Affairs at Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment for ten years where he was the executive on a number of feature films including The Karate Kid, Seven Pounds, This Means War, The Secret Life of Bees, Hancock, I Am Legend and The Pursuit of Happyness.

He received his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University while working at Overbrook Entertainment and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he double-majored in journalism and legal studies.
