JUDY WRIGHT

Judy Wright began her career in the arts with a degree in Theatre. Always behind the scenes, she served as technician, stage manager, and technical director. After twelve years in the theatre, she was given the opportunity to transition into the film industry building scenery. She had found her place, and has remained doing film construction for 25 years.

Some of Judy’s feature credits include: The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (Seattle, WA), Fools Rush In (Las Vegas, NV), Ed (LA, CA), Crazy in Love (Poulsbo, WA), Ten Things I Hate About You (Seattle, WA). Her work on episodic television series include: Crossing Jordan (LA, CA), Shrill, and Grimm, in Portland.

Judy currently leads an amazing professional crew of film prop makers in Portland, OR. She loves the fact that construction in film is the reality piece that feeds the creative filming process.

Judy Wright is a member of I.A.T.S.E. Local 488 the Studio Mechanics of the Northwest serving Oregon, Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana.
