Lara Lavi

Lara Lavi is a media and entertainment law attorney, entertainment company executive, film and TV director, producer, and writer, most importantly to her, a Grammy winning Americana singer- songwriter.  

Ms. Lavi founded her production company, Dreaming In Color Entertainment in response to a request by Marvel Comics to develop and manage a new Custom Comic product initiative for Marvel. Ms. Lavi continues to produce multi-media entertainment properties, branded entertainment and direct compelling product presentations for her clients and her own company.   Ms. Lavi has orchestrated several strategic mergers/acquisitions in the brand licensing and entertainment industry including saving Death Row Records from bankruptcy.  

Her production company Dreaming in Color Entertainment manages and produces multiple recording artists and produces music video, TV and film projects.  Lara has two film/tv projects in development – Be Like Water in partnership with Seattle Media Ventures, Inc and Barbara Benson in partnership with All She Wrote LLC.  Her new album Mermaid Under A Desert Moon comes in January 2021.  And yes, she never sleeps.
