Mar Sue Calleros

A graduate of ITESO University, Mar Calleros originally worked behind the scenes in the Mexican music industry. She was integral in the A&R and marketing of what would become one of the most highly awarded Mexican band’s, Mana. Mar Sue shifted her focus to the film industry in 2010, developing and producing a Salvadorian feature film project, “Foreign Brother”, featuring Hispanic histrionic actor Damián Alcázar. Her film projects include several other fiction and documentary films. Founder of FilMar3.com, a company born at the Cannes Film Festival, her specific field of interest is in making films that call for social justice crossing borders and cultures reflecting her own unique heritage which draws from Native American, Mexican, European and North American backgrounds. SeaDoc Seattle Documentary Association, Current Vice President and Former President/ Fundraising Coordinator, Mar currently resides in Seattle, WA and is the mother of Diaa, Marseille and Greyson.
