Rachel M Thomson

An accomplished Production Designer and Set Decorator, Rachel relishes creating spaces that bring stories to life.  Raised in Washington State, Rachel graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in the arts and a foundation in Theatre. She began her film journey on Northern Exposure as a buyer.  

Rachel is a S\set decorator on TV shows and movies,  helping to shape the vision of projects including “Grimm”, “World’s Greatest Dat”, “The Ward”, Camilla Dickinson”, “Late Autumn”, and “East of the Mountains”.

As a production designer, she finds creative joy in collaborating with directors on period pieces such as “Language Arts” and “Woodstock or Bust” to recreate snapshots of history.
