A homegrown Seattlelite who has seen her fair share of changes in the city. And not necessarily for the better. As a person who has experienced homelessness, my journey is informative for those who misunderstand our plight. But, most importantly, I am a mother to the most awesome kid in the world, Avery, who has remained my rock during my fight to regain my home. I would move heaven and Earth to do anything for them.
