Ed Hartman

Ed Hartman (edhartmanmusic.com) is an award-winning composer, film producer, performer, and educator based in Seattle.  He received his Bachelor of Music from Indiana University, and has been involved with the film and music communities in the Pacific Northwest for decades. Ed writes classical orchestral, along with electronic, jazz and world music.  He teaches music licensing, and has a podcast about film music. Ed's recent accomplishments include scoring the silent film "As the Earth Turns," which earned him 34 best score awards at festivals world-wide, and direction/production/scoring the acclaimed documentary film, "It Gets In Your Blood." Ed’s music has been featured in numerous major motion pictures, television shows, and corporate productions.
