Gary Glushon, Executive Vice President | Fenix Studios

Gary is currently the Executive Vice President of F. Gary Gray’s Fenix Studios, where he oversees development and production of the feature film and television slate. Fenix Studios has a number of projects in development, which include the feature film MASK, based on the Hasbro property, as well as an adaptation of the popular video game franchise Saint’s Row. Prior to Fenix Studios, Glushon served as Executive Vice President of Production and Development for Fundamental Films, a China-based film financier, distribution and production company. Gary executive-produced the feature film 24 Hours to Live starring Ethan Hawke, which Saban Films released in December 2017. Glushon also served as Vice President of Creative Affairs at Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment, where he was the executive on a number of feature films including The Karate Kid, Seven Pounds, This Means War, The Secret Life of Bees, Hancock and I Am Legend. 

He received his Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University while working at Overbrook Entertainment and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he double-majored in journalism and legal studies.
