COMBATING Predatory behavior in the film industry

SUNDAY - august 25th - 11:00 - 3:00PM PDT

What is Predatory Behavior? How does it manifest in our Film Community?
This new educational program empowers filmmakers at all levels to Combat Predatory Behavior in the Film Industry. By focusing on the behaviors themselves rather than the individuals perpetuating them, we’re able to foster a safe space for reform that aims to alleviate shame, stereotypes, and misconceptions that impede survivors and allies from healing and seeking help.

Why Now

Despite the remarkable progress of other movements, there are still few systems in place that address and prevent Predatory Behavior in the Film Industry before it occurs. Educating our communities empowers us to combat the normalization of Predatory Behavior that has run rampant in our industry. Addressing this at its roots is the only way to implement long-lasting, overdue change.
