Sheila Ivy Traister

Sheila is an award winning actor, director, writer and educator who has worked in markets across the country from LA to NY.  She became a proud member of both legacy unions in 1988.  Soon after she volunteered and was elected to serve on the local boards of both SAG and AFTRA.  

Sheila was a delegate to the AFTRA National Convention for 8 years preceding merger and served as the SAG-AFTRA Colorado Local President and National Board Member for nine years beginning in 2012 after merger.  Sheila’s dedication to the SAG-AFTRA membership continues with service on six national committees.
