Nobi and the Force

Since his move from the Tri-Cities area in Washington state to Seattle, Nobi has quickly asserted himself as an artist to keep an eye on. An MC who naturally blends into wide ranges of instrumentation like a verbal chameleon, Nobi's efforts have highlighted his capabilities as a compelling showman both in the studio and on the stage. From fierce displays of microphone venom on tracks like "Cloth of a King" or "Hot Shit", to deep-reaching race and character analysis on "Displaced" or "Lxst", Nobi covers it all with a diamond cut paint brush.

His debut album Fulminate was praised by the Seattle Times as one of the top Washington State albums of the year in 2020. He has been recognized by NPR, had a song utilized in a community outreach video from the Seattle Seahawks, and appeared on another track featured in the hit FX series ATLANTA. He has collaborated with veteran composer and strings player Philip Peterson (Lupe Fiasco, Taylor Swift), Sol, Prometheus Brown, Left at London, and a plethora of underground artists across genres. He has also supported live performances for Lil Wayne, Russ, and Snoop Dogg.

This year Nobi has aligned with a star-studded roster of musicians to assemble Nobi and the Force. The band is comprised of guitar-playing silhouette samurai and music director, Earnie Ashwood, Drummer and master of the pocket, Oz La’brae, Groove-Champion bassist, Juan Salinas, Grammy-winning saxophonist, Medearis Dixson, violin-extraordinaire and Cornish-grad, Kirill Polyaniskiy, and keyboard-wizard, Craig Cinderich. Nobi and the Force are a multidisciplinary, genre-defying ensemble that are sure to leave you with a uniquely, soul-moving experience every show.
