Omari Salisbury

Omari Salisbury’s passion for media has taken him from Seattle’s Central District to over 65 countries around the world and produced an incredible track record not only in journalism but also content creation and as a media executive. Omari has launched several TV and radio stations across the Continent of Africa and the Middle East as well as the launch of East Africa’s first totally digital media marketing agency as well as negotiating content deals for over 40 countries. In 2016, following a successful career overseas, Omari returned to Seattle with a mission to uplift stories in Seattle’s Black community and Converge Media was born. Over the last 6 years Converge Media has been thriving in its purpose as an Emmy Award winning leading provider of culturally relevant video content in the Pacific Northwest.
